Atelier / Material first
We choose what a room is made of before we choose what colour it is. Plaster, oak, raw brass, stone and linen — surfaces that age into the house rather than against it.

Limewash, rift oak and brass left raw on purpose.
The material board
Three coats, burnished by hand. Moves with the light all day and never reads flat.
Sourcing note — specified on every full-home engagement; substitutions require written approval from the studio and the client.
Residence No. 07

The house should tell you how to enter it before anyone speaks.

The kitchen carries the most hours, so it carries the most material.

One sculptural gesture, then silence for the rest of the room.
